It all started with a pawn shop camera, a nifty fifty, and an elective photography class in 2003. Two years later, the desire to create was so strong that Melody moved across the country to study fine art photography at the Corcoran College of Art & Design.
In 2012, after years of working as a part time photographer, Melody decided to go all in on her passion for photography. A single mom of three, fueled by her love for capturing light, texture, and raw emotion, she was determined to turn her passion into a paycheck.
Fast forward to today, and Melody Yazdani is not just a photographer. She's an internationally recognized, award-winning Master Photographer with over 17 years of experience under her belt.
As the boss behind Melody Yazdani Studios, she's turned it into the go-to spot for women's portraiture in the Washington DC area, creating lasting memories for countless women and their families.
